A massive agitation was carried out by supporters of Tibet on Tuesday,
which also participated ABVP activists on China's intrusion in eastern
Ladakh. The protest was organized by students of Free Tibet and India, which also included some students from Ladakh.
Reports of China PLA troops invaded at least 19 kilometers in DBO (Daulat Beg Oldie) in eastern Ladakh since April 15 and has erected five tents stationed soldiers, ignoring repeated calls of Indian army to withdraw. "The recent incursion of Chinese troops into Indian territory in eastern Ladakh again highlights the expansion of China's crackdown, which now seems to extend beyond Tibet, where we have witnessed 117 self-immolations since 2009 . The situation demands immediate and decisive action, "said Dorjee Tseten, National Director, Students for Free Tibet and India.
"China's illegal occupation of Tibet is not an error, but a well-planned design to control the whole of Asia. We stand with our indigenous brothers and sisters in condemning Chinese aggression on Indian soil," he said.
"Despite 54 years of repression in Tibet by China, Tibetans have not given up hope of freedom. We continue resisting.'s Time for the Indian government to create a counter-direct strategy hard taking the Tibet issue in the upcoming talks with Chinese leaders, "he added.
