Ludhiana: In a shocking incident, the Punjab police has rescued a child, who was allegedly sold by the social network Facebook, a resident of New Delhi to 8 lakh.
According to police said, the child’s mother was told by her father that the newborn was dead, who then allegedly sold the baby to a woman help in the hospital for Rs. 45,000.
She in turn sold the infant for three lakhs to Gurpreet Singh, a lab assistant in the same hospital.
