This time on the 73rd Republic Day, the whole country will see a glimpse of many things on the Rajpath for the first time. The biggest highlight of the Republic Day celebrations is that along with India's military might, there is a glimpse of various cultural tableaux on the Rajpath of Delhi. This time the ceremony is being organized in the shadow of the Kovid-19 epidemic. Therefore, such special arrangements have been made so that there is less chance of spreading of corona. Due to this, only adults who have taken both doses of the vaccine and children of 15 years who have taken a single dose will get entry. It will be mandatory for everyone to follow the Kovid-19 guidelines. The parade will begin with the National War Memorial of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, where he will pay tribute to the soldiers of the country. As per tradition, the national anthem will be accompanied by the unfurling of the national flag and a 21-gun salute. The parade will begin with the salute to President Ram Nath Kovind. After this, Gallantry Awards will be distributed. For the first time many new things will be seen On Republic Day this year, the government has decided that this program will run for a week, which has started from 23 January. The celebrations will continue till January 30, which is celebrated as Martyrs' Day. Many initiatives have also been taken by the Ministry of Defense to make Republic Day celebrations special this year. According to the government release, for the first time, there will be a grand fly-past of 75 fighter planes or helicopters from the Indian Air Force. Along with this, there is a plan to include 1000 indigenous drones in the Beating the Retreat to be held on 29 January. In addition, for the first time, 480 dancers selected through the nationwide Vand Mataram competition will grace the celebrations with their dance in a cultural program during the parade for the first time. What was included in the parade? The tableau is also the center of attraction in the celebration of Republic Day. In the parade, 25 tableaux, tableaus of 12 states and union territories, tableaus of 9 central ministries, 2 tableaux of DRDO and 1-1 tableau of Air Force-Navy have been included. Many changes have also been made on Rajpath for Republic Day. The width has increased by 12 feet. Along with this, the 16,500 meter long path-way has beautiful stones in the shore. New 422 stone benches have been installed and 16 bridges are being prepared on the canal. Also the number of trees has been increased.
