CHANDIGARH: Two goalies with a discotheque in Sector 8 were attacked with blunt-edged weapons and sharp when heading home on a motorcycle on Saturday night. The incident took place near the front door of the IGP. One of the young, Sukhjinder Singh, received serious injuries.
Another injured, identified as Sandeep, was discharged from the PGI. The attackers were in a white car and were armed with baseball bats, iron rods and sharp weapons. Later, the Sukhjinder wounded was taken to hospital by relatives. A case was registered at police station sector 11.
