Ludhiana: As the city celebrated Hanuman Jayanti or the birthday of Lord Hanuman, the devotees prayed for the ability to emulate the behavior and devotion. A "hawan" was organized in the "Sidh Peeth Mahabali Sankat Mochan Hanuman Mandir" in Haibowal, after which they performed bhajan, Aarti ceremony and flag. The devotees had "langar" after the ceremonies. While some devotees fast on that day, other pastries offered in the temple in honor of this beloved deity of the Hindu pantheon.
Chairman-cum-organizer of the event, Ashok Jain, a resident of Ghumar Mandi said, "Hanuman Jayanti or birthday of Lord Hanuman is celebrated on full moon day of the month of 'Chaitra'. "

Hanuman directed his energies towards the worship of Lord Ram and his only desire was to serve Lord Ram. therefore, He is the perfect example of devotion ".
