Zila Parishad MAY POLLS SAD AGAINST ALLY pit BJP

The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) is likely to be prepared against its ally, the BJP, in several seats in the next election zila parishad (ZP) in the state.
Elections 22 zila parishads and 145 panchayat Samitis is scheduled to be held on May 12 and the two sides are finalizing their candidates for elections. The nomination begins on April 26.
La first round of meetings between the two parties was held the night of Monday and, although many nominees for the various stalls were agreed by both parties, there are several areas in which the Allies will end submit independent candidates. For these elections, the 22 zila parishads are divided into 333 zones and sources said that in at least 25-30 areas of the two parts oppose each other.
This is not the first time the SAD and BJP fight each other in these elections. Added that the two sides will meet again on Wednesday to finalize the candidates.
This time of the 333 areas of zila parsihad, 75 are reserved for castes and 37 for women castes programmed, 71 for women, 147 for the general category and three for backward classes.
