Ludhiana: A day after Assistant Commissioner of Police Baldev Singh Chauhan was caught while taking bribe from a scrap dealer, more people showed up against the ACP stating that they too had hired him on several occasions.
In total, 4 people filed complaints with the police in this regard. The police are verifying the facts before registering FIR. Some of the complainants alleged that the ACP extorted money from them, rather than not to raise false cases.
Satinder Singh surveillance SSP said they are checking into complaints against the police.
Meanwhile, the deputy commissioner was sent to police custody two days.
