On Tuesday, he was at the Congress office in Lucknow. Ink was thrown at Kanhaiya Kumar when he had come to participate in the nomination of Congress candidate for Lucknow Central seat, Sadaf Zafar. After the ink-throwing incident, it was told that Kanhaiya Kumar was not harmed by it, only a couple of drops had fallen on him. The name of the arrested youth is Devansh Bajpai. There is no further information available about him yet. The Election Commission announced the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh on 8 January. Voting for the 403-seat 18th Assembly will be held in seven phases from February 10 to March 7. The results of the elections will come on March 10. Voting will be held in UP in seven phases on February 10, February 14, February 20, February 23, February 27, March 3 and March 7. In the first phase on February 10, 58 seats in 11 districts of western UP, second phase on February 14 in 55 seats in 9 districts, in the third phase on February 20, 59 in 16 districts. Voting will take place on the seats. In the fourth phase, polling will be held on February 23 in 60 seats in 9 districts including Lucknow. In the fifth phase, on February 27, 60 seats in 11 districts, in the sixth phase on March 3, 57 seats in 10 districts, and in the seventh and last phases, polling will be held in 9 districts on March 7. 54 seats will be done.
