In the year 2007, Shilpa attended an event in Rajasthan where Hollywood star Richard Gere also attended. In this event, Richard had kissed Shilpa on stage in front of everyone and not once but many times. After which this matter had sprung up a lot and later the people present there accused Shilpa of spreading obscenity. Now after so many years, the court has cleared the actress from all these charges. In this case, Metropolitan Magistrate Ketki Chhavan has described Shilpa Shetty as the Victim. According to Ketki Chhavan, Shilpa was a victim in this case. After looking into the matter and conducting a thorough investigation on the complaint, Magistrate Ketki found that Shilpa was just a victim, hence the allegations against Shilpa are baseless. In view of the police report and documents, Shilpa is cleared of all charges. Nothing in the complaint that has been filed satisfies the alleged offense. Let us tell you that after that incident, three cases were registered against Shilpa out of which two were from Rajasthan and one was done in Ghaziabad. Later (2017) this case was transferred to Mumbai by the Supreme Court. Let us tell you that this is a big relief for Shilpa because for some time she has been involved in a lot of controversies regarding husband Raj Kundra. Some time back, Raj was arrested for making obscene films, in which the name of Shilpa's involvement also surfaced. In this case, Raj got bail after about two months.
