Ludhiana: Members of seven clubs in the city participated in the dance competition between clubs organized by Sarabha Ladies Club of Friends at the Regency Hotel. In keeping with the theme of the event, "Romance" and "Salsa", participants exhibited graceful dance movements. The judging panel comprised of teachers of dance, which took into account the coordination, costumes and theme.
The event concluded with women are a Punjabi wedding in a village as they danced to Punjabi folk songs. The aesthetic act was conceived by club director Shammi Bindra and cheoreographed by Bindiya Sood. Lakshmi Ladies Club, represented by Aashi Chabbra Preeti Arora and won the competition.
The second place went to Eves Club, which represents Disha Jain and Ruchi Jain while the third place was won by Gayatri Club, represented by Shailaja Sharma and Naina Sood. Shammi Bindra Club Director said: "I was glad to host this competition today. Members were delighted to see performances on stage, as participants danced to salsa and our members danced to Punjabi folk songs." Preeti Chabbra, the contest winner, expressed his joy at winning the contest in which everyone puts their best foot forward.
